I've
just signed up online and paid my Culture Club annual membership fee. When will
I receive my member's pack?

Please allow up to
21 days for your pack to arrive. It is likely that it will be sooner than this
but we prefer to take every eventuality into account - don't forget
you need to allow plenty of time for data processing and postage. If your pack

What does my
member's pack contain?

Your
member's pack will include a personalised letter, a personalised
membership card with a unique member number and a welcome brochure detailing
the standard benefits you are entitled to as a Culture Club member.
What do I
get for my £10?

As a Culture Club
member you can take advantage of a wide range of standard money saving offers
redeemable at various culturally related venues and businesses across the
region. These offers and benefits are all listed in the brochure with details
of how to take advantage of them. Culture Club members will also be able to
take advantage of further weekly special offers and promotions. They will be
eligible to enter competitions, receive money saving discounts and have the
opportunity to attend exclusive Culture Club events around the region.
Where do I
find out about the offers?

A list of standard
Culture Club member benefits can be found in your welcome brochure and in the
membership pack.
Further competitions, special offers and Culture Club events will be advertised
regularly on this site. Details of how you can take advantage of these offers
can be found on the Culture Club page published every Friday in The Journal
newspaper.
My wife and
I are both big fans of the cultural scene in the North East and the offers look
great. Do we need to purchase two memberships?

It's up to
you, but please bear in mind that all Culture Club benefits and offers are
different. For example, if you want to take advantage of a 'Buy One Get One
Free' offer on admission you will only need one card. Similarly, invitations to
events will usually be for a member and a guest. However, please note that to
take advantage of SOME of the offers you will BOTH be required to have a
membership card and unique member number.
I've
lost my membership card. What should I do?

If you've
lost your card you'll need to get a replacement sent out. Please call
0191 201 6369 or email
info@thejournalcultureclub.co.uk with your name, address, contact
telephone number and if you still have a record of it, your unique membership
number.
I notice
that the card has an expiry date. What will happen when my membership runs out?

Your Culture Club
membership lasts a year. Once the membership has expired your card will no
longer be valid and you will be unable to take advantage of the standard
benefits and the weekly promotions. Nor will you be eligible to enter
competitions or attend events.
Just before your membership expires we will contact you and ask if you wish to
renew your membership. If you no longer wish to be involved, simply throw away
your membership card and we will bother you no more!
What happens
to my personal data?

Your information
will be used for administration and analysis. Your personal data will not be
passed on unless you have requested it during your registration.

I've
moved house. What should I do?

If you have moved
house, please use the Change Profile link at the top of the page to amend your
information. Alternatively, let us know and we can amend your records for you.

I went to 'Restaurant
X' last week and they would not accept my card. Why not?

This is unlikely
to happen but occasionally there may be extenuating circumstances that means
the benefit provider is unable to honour the specified offer. If you feel that
they have given an unsatisfactory explanation then please do let us know and we
will endeavour to find out why and put things right. Unfortunately, situations
sometimes change and things happen that are beyond our control. If for some
reason an offer or benefit is withdrawn or amended we will publish details on
this website.
Can I get a refund?
