Culture Club members can take advantage of 20% off membership of the Lit & Phil. Of the many beautiful Newcastle buildings, the Lit & Phil is one that retains its original purpose. As the largest independant library outside London it holds over 150,000 books a total to which over 1,000 are added each year. the music collection boasts over 8,000 CD's, 10,000 LP's as well as sheet music and scores. As well as a great resource the Lit & Phil is a lovely place to study, relax, have a coffee and read the papers. This is truly an historic gem and one that you can become a real part of.
