Tynemouth's Blue Reef Aquarium offers visitors a dazzling undersea safari through the oceans of the world.
From its position overlooking the dramatic North Sea, the aquarium uses the latest in high tech marine technology and innovative new display techniques to showcase sea creatures from around the globe in naturally themed habitats - home to everything from seahorses and puffer fish to living corals and tropical sea sharks.
As well as informative talks and feeding demonstrations, there's an ever changing programme of special events and exhibitions.
Enjoy the closest of undersea encounters in an underwater walk-through tunnel through the reef, from inside a glass cavern and via bubble-helmet viewing points.

One adult or child is free, when accompanied by an adult who pays the full price. Where there is a difference the lowest price ticket is free. The offer is obtained on presentation of a valid Culture Club Card. Photocopied, damaged or forged cards will not be accepted.
