| Members attended a Wildfood event in the 5,000-acre beauty-spot of Hamsterley Forest. Led by ranger and wildfood fan Neil Taylor, activities included a forage to identify natural food stuffs like leaves, roots and even bark, before a tasting session at the forest visitor centre. Menu offerings included hawthorn leaves, other spring greens and nettle soup – all truly organic and thoroughly nourishing! |
