THIS IS JUST TO SAY HOW MUCH WE ENJOYED THE EVENT LAST NIGHT AT THE LAING ART GALLERY

Just to sat thanks for a fantastic evening at the Laing on Wednesday. I have told lots of my friends about the great installation, and discussion. Without the Journal Culture Club I would have missed seeing it, so thanks once again.

Another good culture club opportunity was listening to Claire Morgan at the Laing. Again she was able to talk with and really relate to the audience. Quite often artists (inc. writers) seem at a distance from those outside their circle. But these two wonderful and talented people, (writing about Claire Morgan and David Almond) removed any mystique about what and how they create and gave us an insight into their work that would not have been possible simply from viewing or reading their work.
